New Beginnings Ministry

Vista has begun a ministry at the New Beginnings Children's Home.  Our heart & mission is to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the foster children currently living living at the New Beginnings Children’s Home. These kids range from middle to high school age & in their short time on this planet have already experienced abuse, neglect, pain, and rejection.  We come along side of them & show them the love and compassion Jesus did by spending quality time with them, building real relationships, & showing them a new perspective - a Jesus perspective!   We meet with the kiddos monthly & share meaningful experiences to create healthy memories with them by having game nights, movie nights, Karaoke nights, water days, dinners, and any type of experience to give them normalcy.  

Food Drive

We partner with the San Antonio Food Bank (SAFB) and First Baptist Church of Castroville to distribute food to people in need. This is a great way to volunteer and help others in need on the 2nd Wednesday and the 3rd Tuesday of every month, If you are in need of food assistance, you can register for the SAFB truck by calling the San Antonio Food Bank at 210-431-8326.
