Ministry Opportunities

Audio – Responsible for sound during the service 

Children’s Ministry – Teachers work with ages ranging from 6 months to 11 years.  Responsibilities include teaching, assisting, and caring for children (background  check required). Greeters welcome families and check in children using our church  software to generate name labels and security tags. 

Community Outreach – Assist with community outreach events/service projects. 

Compassion Ministry – Serve those in need. This could be hospital visitation or  home visits to those in need of prayer and encouragement. 

Hospitality – Responsible for setup of weekly coffee and welcoming all on Sunday  mornings. 

Maintenance – Help maintain, repair, and beautify our church building and  property. 

Men’s Ministry – Assist with monthly fellowships for the men of Vista. 

Missions – Work with others to provide support to missionaries and send teams. 

New Beginnings – Assist with meetings and coordinate assistance for a nearby  children’s group home. 

Prayer Team – Commit to praying over prayer requests, individuals during  services, and the various prayer needs of the church and beyond. 

Social Media – Assist with updating the church website and social media. 

Ushers – Assist with seating the congregation, passing out communion and  collecting the offering. 

Video Team – Transmit and record our services inhouse and out to the web. 

Women’s Ministry – Assist with monthly fellowships for the women of Vista. 

Worship Team  – Serve by singing or playing an instrument during worship. 

Youth Ministry – Serve in bible study for teens, help promote spiritual growth and  maturity for our young people, and promote activities and service projects that  help meet the needs of others (background check required).
